Auwal Ibrahim
Honorable Justice Auwal Ibrahim was appointed a Judge of the National Industrial Court in 2008 - 2018. After his Bachelors Degree in Law at the University of Maiduguri, he proceeded to University of Warwick, Coventry, England for his LL.M. and backed it up with a Doctorate Degree in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. Justice Ibrahim served on the Attorney General of the Federation's working committee on the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria and was also on its Editorial Board.
In the field of academics and research, Justice Ibrahim has been a lecturer at the graduate and post graduate levels in the areas of Constitutional Law, Labour and Industrial Relations Law at the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.
In the sphere of labour and industrial relations practice, Justice Ibrahim was at various times the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the Modibbo Adama College of the University of Maiduguri and the University of Maiduguri Branches. He was member, ASW National Industrial Negotiating Team and Member, Federal Government and ASW Negotiating Panel. Justice Ibrahim was on a study tour to the United States of America in August, 2009 and South Africa in May, 2010.
