A. N. Ubaka

Hon. Justice Ubaka trained as a lawyer at the University of Ife, Ile-Ife now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, and was admitted to the Nigeria Bar over two decades ago, as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She has worked as a counsel with Elokwu Etuka and Co.; she was at another time, the Assistant Manager, Legal/Claims, in Presidential Insurance Company and later rose to the position of Company Secretary during which she helped in repositioning the company. She thereafter set up her own private law firm for private legal practice and consultancy. His Lordship was appointed to the Bench at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria in 2013.
