NICN END OF YEAR CELEBRATION: OLATOYE AANU BAGS ABUJA BEST STAFF OF THE YEAR

The atmosphere was so lovely, and the feelings of enjoyment and merriment were glossy as the National Industrial Court of Nigeria Abuja Judicial division on Monday 17th December 2018 held her end of year celebration. It was indeed another beautiful day set aside to evaluate and to reflect on what the year stands for.
The events featured Awards presentation to distinguished best staff across divisions and raffle draw where staff who was in attendance won instant unprecedented gifts.
The program was graced by the presiding judges of the Abuja judicial division, Hon. Justice A. N. Agbakoba, Hon. Justice O. Y. Anuwe and Hon. Justice Sanusi Kado.
The Chief Registrar Mr. O. W. Daudu Esq led the principal officers and staff to celebrate the memorable event.
A minute silence was observed in honor of the late judges of the court and late staff who have paid the supreme price, prayed for the repose of their souls and eternal rest.
It was indeed another privilege to honor the best staff that has performed their assignment creditably and exceedingly well.
Olatoye Aanu bagged the best staff of the year, Abuja judicial division, while Ladi Odey of Admin department won second best and Umaru Usman of maintenance department awarded Third best.
Mr. Aanu was born in the 80’s, hails from Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, South West Region, Nigeria.
He joined the service of NICN in 2006 and was posted to Lagos division where he served at fund section.
As history would have it, upon the relocation of the court to Abuja in 2012, he was redeployed to Abuja, same account department, final account section till date.
The conferment of best staff on Mr. Olatoye Aanu leaves no one in doubt of his efficiency and efficacy to deliver any task assigned to him beyond mediocrity.
Some of his colleagues who spoke under condition of anonymity expressed that Aanu deserved the award in comparison with his dedication to work and sacrifice.
“He's someone who never gives an excuse that I have closed. He won’t leave office until he finishes all the work for the day.”
The best staff went home with Lenovo laptop, N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) Cash Price and Chief Registrar award price of N100,000.00 (One hundred thousand Naira Only).
The NBA Chairman of Abuja (Unity Branch) also graced the occasion.
